Mosaic Mirrors and Bird Bath

I made this mirror frame with stained glass. It just needs to be grouted, before it can be hung on the wall. This is my third mirror. I get the wooden mirrors very cheaply from Ikea. Here are a couple of pictures of the work in progress and of the finished mirrors.

Ich habe diesen Spiegelrahmen mit grünen Glasscherben gemacht. Er muss nur noch mit Fugenmaterial behandelt werden, bevor er an die Wand gehängt werden kann. Das ist mein dritter Spiegel. Ich kaufe die hölzernen Spiegelrahmen sehr günstig von Ikea. Hier sind Photos von den Spiegeln (zwei sind schon fertig).

 I painted this mirror purple and used a crackle finish, before I did the mosaic.
Diesen Spiegel habe ich  violett bemalt und mit crackle medium bearbeitet, bevor ich mit dem Mosaik begann.

I didn't have to paint this mirror, because I didn't use any clear glass.
Diesen Spiegel musste ich nicht bemalen, da ich keine durchsichtigen Scherben verwendet habe.

This is a birdbath I made for my husband the bird lover.

He doesn't use it in the garden though; he thinks it's too nice.

It's a decorative item in our kitchen now.

Dies ist ein Mosaik-Vogelbad, dass ich für meinen Mann, den Vogelliebhaber, gemacht habe. Er weigert sich, es im Garten zu gebrauchen, es reut ihn. Deshalb verschönert es jetzt unsere Küche.
