Skirt with Ruffled Border

During a recent visit to the fabric store, I discovered this beautiful cotton fabric that I thought would make a nice little skirt for me.

Während einem Besuch in einem Stoffladen, entdeckte ich kürzlich diesen schönen Baumwollstoff und dachte er würde bestimmt einen schönen Jupe (Rock) für mich machen.

I chose a simple A-line pattern,

Ich entschied mich für ein einfaches Muster,

adjusted the size to my figure, added a border and ruffle,

passte es meiner Figur an, nähte eine Borte mit Rüschen dazu,

et voilà!

I liked the result and a few days later happened to chance upon this book, when visiting the bookstore. Of course, I bought it! As if I didn't have enough books already...

Mir gefiel das Ergebnis und ein paar Tage später fand ich zufällig dieses Buch bei einem Besuch in der Buchhandlung. Natürlich kaufte ich es. Als ob ich nicht bereits genügend Bücher hätte...
