Tea Time

I LOVE tea. I drink it every day and take pleasure in discovering new aromas.
Yesterday, I went to a local British Tea Room for lunch with a friend. It was such a relaxing, wonderful experience. Dainty porcelain teaware, finger sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, great tea, lovely company, and classical background music. What else could one ask for?

I was inspired to create something tea related after the visit. A tea cozy, I decided would be a practical thing to make, especially since I don't own one. I went in search of instructions and inspiration on google and flickr. I was amazed at how many tea cozies were knitted or crocheted. I think I will sew one though. These are some of my favorites among my finds:

  1. I love the little house tea cozy. I also enjoy tea houses. It's such a nice experience.
